The American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies involving infants and children. This course focuses on the recognition and management of respiratory failure, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest, as well as effective team communication during pediatric resuscitation.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider certification valid for two (2) years.
Course Options:
PALS Recert
For participants with a current, active PALS certification
One-day course (approximately 8 hours beginning at 9 AM)
PALS Initial (Full Course)
For first-time PALS participants or those with an expired certification
Two-day course (16 hours total, approximately 8 hours per day beginning at 9 AM)
Please ensure you select the correct course option when registering. Participants with expired certifications must enroll in the Initial (Full) course.
PALS Provider Course (Full/Recert)
2 years from the date of issueance.
Enrollments in American Heart Association (AHA) courses are final. Participants who do not attend a scheduled course without prior notice or rescheduling with the school are not eligible for a refund.
Rescheduling may be permitted with advance notice, subject to availability.
