The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

 

This course serves for an initial certification or for a renewal, and the certification is valid for 2 years from the course date.

  • Delivering effective breaths or ventilations
  • Importance of early use of and how to use an AED
  • Performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR

  • Enrollments in American Heart Association (AHA) courses are final. Participants who do not attend a scheduled course without prior notice or rescheduling with the school are not eligible for a refund.

    Rescheduling may be permitted with advance notice, subject to availability.
