Cardio Phlebotomy

A Cardio-Phlebotomy Technician is cross-trained in both Phlebotomy and EKG procedures and techniques including blood draws, specimen testing, infection control, how to operate, adjust and maintain EKG heart monitors, and how to understand the results of the electrocardiograph recordings.

 

Cardio-Phlebotomy Technicians work in hospitals, doctors' offices, Urgent Care facilities, Cardiac Rehabs, and more.

If you are currently a licensed CNA, completion of this course will make you a fully certified Patient Care Technican.

This class is done in 2 segments,

 

The first is EKG, This is 4 weeks long.

 

It is held every Monday - Tuesday, and Thursday. 

Day time option is 9 am to 1 pm 

Evening option is 6 pm to 10 pm

(You can choose which session you would like when you enroll)

The second segment is Phlebotomy. This portion is 8 weeks long.

 

It is held every Monday - Tuesday, and Thursday. 

 

Day time option is 9 am to 1 pm 

 

Evening option is 6 pm to 10 pm

(You can choose which session you would like when you enroll)

 

You will do your clinical time with one of our partner facilities to obtain the required field experience needed for certification.
