The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor Essentials Course aims to prepare instructor candidates for teaching AHA Instructor-led and blended learning PALS Provider courses.
This course educates candidates on the effective utilization of AHA instructional materials, ensuring that students achieve learning objectives, and developing student coaching skills. It also includes training for providing objective skills performance evaluations and adhering to AHA Instructor and course policies. The curriculum covers both core and discipline-specific content necessary for instructing AHA courses.
This course is specifically intended for candidates who wish to train healthcare professionals who require credentialing to perform their roles in clinical or emergency settings. This includes pediatricians, emergency room physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, intensive care and critical care providers, as well as other healthcare providers who are responsible for initiating and directing advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. The course equips these professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to instruct others effectively in pediatric advanced life support.
This is an 8 hour course PLUS the required classroom instructor time!
