American Safety Programs & Training Inc. was founded in April 2006 with the sole purpose of “Teaching Others to Save Lives.” We dedicate ourselves to being the most knowledgeable, efficient, and professional teaching facility–offering classes, courses, and programs in Emergency Medical Services, Allied Health, and the healthcare industry.
Our school provides an atmosphere of mutual respect and support to assist and encourage students to develop their maximum potential as a clinically competent healthcare provider to elevate patient care. Our goal is always to cultivate highly capable, skilled medical professionals by offering them top-quality instruction that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Our Mission
Our mission at American Safety Programs & Training Inc. is driven by "teaching others to save lives" and to educate all students to become successful medical professionals in the healthcare field.

THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
"I loved the healthcare industry and during my time working as a CNA, I became very interested in the area of Phlebotomy. At the age of 56, I decided to go back to school in person to a reputable vocational school.
After doing some research and making a lot of phone calls, I found myself speaking to Shelby at ASPT. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions without trying to “sell” me anything. The very next day, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the Phlebotomy Technician program.
I dove into the course with enthusiasm, which grew every day with the fun and engaging way the course was presented by my instructors Ken and Michelle. They were encouraging every step of the way and their expertise in the field guided me to have confidence and enhance my skills.
Ken and Michelle encouraged me to come back as often as I wanted after graduating to use the lab and supplies to gain more sticks and skills. So, I went back every week for several months with supportive friends and family.
I felt confident in my skills and ready to start my new career. I soon found myself receiving 2 great job offers and today I am proud to say that I work as an Inpatient Phlebotomist at Kent Hospital. I owe it all to the instructors and staff at ASPT because without them, I would never have accomplished this amazing opportunity to fulfill my dream."
