Prerequisites:

• High School Diploma or GED

• You must hold at least ONE of the following ACTIVE LICENSES:

  • EMT Cardiac

  • CEN Registered Nurse

  • Critical Care Registered Nurse

  • Nurse Practitioner (Internal Med/Critical Care)

  • ICU Registered Nurse

  • Military Medic ​​

Course Schedule:

This class is self-paced. You will have 18 months to complete the online portion of your didactic studies. 

​

Course includes:

• Access to Jones & Bartlett Learning (JBL) Management System

• Subscription to FISDAP

• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, and PALS certification

• NAEMT Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), GEMS, and PTEP

• FEMA requirements for ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 and Hazardous Materials Awareness

• Clinical Rotations and Ride Time

How does the program work?

​

• Sign up by either financing or paying in full. 

​

• Receive a code during your onboarding meeting for official online access.

  • Access is valid for 18 months, giving you a full and a half year to complete the didactic portion at your own pace.

​

• Work with our expert instructors remotely to assist you in completing your program ONLINE. 

​

• Once you complete the didactic portion, our team will assist you in scheduling your skills and clinical hours to complete the program.

  • PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to complete your clinical hours in a state other than RI, we will do our best to ensure your ride time is fulfilled, but it is NOT guaranteed that your hours will be completed in the state of your choosing.
